Hello Decodables® Ambassador Program Policy

Welcome to the Hello Decodables Ambassador Program.
We are honored that you want to share Hello Decodables with your audience. This program is designed for educators, literacy leaders, and homeschool families who genuinely use and believe in our resources.
By applying to or participating in the Hello Decodables Ambassador Program, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Program Overview
Approved Ambassadors receive:

A unique affiliate link
-
A unique 10% off discount code for their audience
-
10% cash commission on qualified purchases made using their link or code
Participation in the program is by application and approval only. Hello Literacy, Inc., d/b/a Hello Decodables (“Company”) reserves the right to approve or decline any applicant at its sole discretion to ensure brand alignment.
2. Commission Structure & Payment
Commission Rate
Ambassadors earn 10% of net sales revenue from qualified purchases made through their unique affiliate link or discount code.
“Net sales revenue” excludes:

Taxes
-
Shipping
-
Refunds
-
Chargebacks
-
Fraudulent transactions
-
Unauthorized discount stacking
Self-purchases do not qualify for commission.
Payment Terms

Commissions are calculated monthly.

A minimum payout threshold of $50 must be reached before payment is issued.

Payments are made via [insert payment method].
The Company reserves the right to withhold commissions for suspected fraud, misuse, or policy violations.
3. Discount Code Usage
Each Ambassador receives a unique 10% discount code for their audience.

Codes may not be submitted, distributed, or published on third-party coupon, deal, browser extension, or cashback websites.

This includes, but is not limited to: RetailMeNot, CouponCabin, Honey, Capital One Shopping, Rakuten, Slickdeals, or similar platforms.

Codes may not be promoted as public or storewide sales beyond the approved 10% discount.
-
Codes may not be combined with unauthorized promotions or used for discount stacking.
The Company reserves the right to deactivate any code found on unauthorized platforms and may remove the Ambassador from the program without notice if misuse occurs.
4. Ambassador Expectations
Ambassadors agree to:

Promote Hello Decodables honestly and authentically through your socials, website, newsletters and blog. Try to promote at least once a month through posts, stories, and reels. Tag @helloliteracy

Clearly disclose affiliate relationships in accordance with FTC guidelines (e.g., “affiliate link,” “I earn a commission,” or similar clear disclosure).

Avoid misleading or exaggerated claims.
-
Represent the Hello Decodables brand professionally.
-
Follow all applicable laws and school/district policies when sharing classroom content.
The Company reserves the right to remove any Ambassador whose conduct or content does not align with brand standards.
5. Paid Advertising & Trademark Restrictions
To protect brand integrity and advertising performance, Ambassadors may not engage in the following without prior written permission from the Company:
Trademark Bidding
Ambassadors may not bid on, purchase, or target Hello Decodables, Hello Literacy, or any related trademarks, brand names, product names, or misspellings thereof in paid advertising.
This includes, but is not limited to:

Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max, YouTube)

Microsoft/Bing Ads
-
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads
-
TikTok Ads
-
Pinterest Ads
-
Any paid social or paid search platform
Brand Keyword Targeting
Ambassadors may not run paid advertisements targeting search terms such as:

“Hello Decodables”
-
“Hello Literacy”
-
“Hello Decodable Books”
-
Variations or misspellings of these terms
The Company reserves the right to determine what constitutes a protected brand term.
Domain or URL Mimicry
Ambassadors may not:
-
Use display URLs that resemble the Hello Decodables website
-
Create landing pages that imitate or replicate the Hello Decodables website
-
Register domain names that include Hello Decodables trademarks
Ad Creative Impersonation
Ambassadors may not create paid advertisements that:

Appear to be official Hello Decodables ads
-
Use Hello Decodables branding in a way that could cause customer confusion
-
Imply they represent or are employed by the Company
Coupon or Deal Advertising
Ambassadors may not run paid ads promoting discount codes in a way that targets users already searching for Hello Decodables.
Violation of this section may result in immediate removal from the program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
What Ambassadors May Do
Ambassadors are encouraged to:

Share affiliate links and discount codes in organic social media posts.

Create authentic content demonstrating how they use Hello Decodables in their classroom or homeschool.

Include affiliate links in blog posts, newsletters, or educational resource pages.
-
Use approved brand graphics and product images provided by Hello Decodables.

6. Content Usage & Marketing Permission
By participating in the Hello Decodables Ambassador Program, you grant Hello Literacy, Inc., d/b/a Hello Decodables:

A non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to repost, share, edit, reproduce, and distribute any content you create that features or references Hello Decodables products.

Permission to use your name, likeness, social media handle, testimonials, photos, and videos for marketing purposes, including:

Organic social media
-
Paid advertising
-
Website marketing
-
Email campaigns
-
Sales pages
This permission remains in effect unless revoked in writing. Previously published marketing materials may continue to be used.
You represent that:

You own or have permission to share the content.
-
Any classroom or student images comply with school and district policies.
7. Ambassador Campaign Gifts & Promotional Products
From time to time, the Company may provide seasonal campaign materials, promotional boxes, complimentary products, or other brand “gifts” (“Campaign Gifts”) for marketing or classroom use.
Campaign Gifts are provided for promotional and classroom purposes only.
Ambassadors may:

Use Campaign Gifts in their own classroom or homeschool.
-
Feature Campaign Gifts in social media content.
-
Host giveaways on their own platforms using the gifted items.
Ambassadors may not:
-
Sell, resell, auction, or redistribute Campaign Gifts for monetary gain.
-
List Campaign Gifts for sale on third-party marketplaces including, but not limited to, eBay, Mercari, Etsy, Facebook Marketplace, Poshmark, or similar platforms.

Exchange Campaign Gifts for goods, services, or store credit.
Violation of this section may result in removal from the program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
8. Intellectual Property
All Hello Decodables materials, trademarks, product designs, digital assets and written content remain the sole property of Hello Literacy, Inc.
Ambassadors are granted a limited, revocable license to use approved materials solely for promotional purposes related to this program.
9. Termination
Participation in the Ambassador Program is ongoing but may be terminated at any time.
The Company reserves the right to remove any Ambassador for:

FTC violations
-
Fraudulent activity
-
Misuse of discount codes
-
Paid advertising violations
-
Brand misrepresentation
-
Conduct inconsistent with Company values
Upon termination:
-
Affiliate links and codes will be deactivated.
-
Eligible commissions earned prior to termination will be paid according to standard payout terms.
10. Policy Updates
The Company may update this policy at any time. Continued participation in the Ambassador Program constitutes agreement to the updated terms.
